There's a lot of controversy about Google's Gmail and privacy concerns. My personal opinion is that most of the detractors are privacy fundamentalist and the typical liberal "we know what's best for you" bleeding hearts. Basically they're idiots. The best argument about this I've seen so far was this post by Tim O'Reilly.
